Christmas is just a few days away. For many its very bitter sweet. For the ones who lost love one. We miss the ones we lost deeply. During the holiday I miss my great grandparents a lot. They made the holidays the holidays.This Christmas let us remember what Christmas is all about.. the birth of Christ. It's not about the gifts or "santa" its about Christ. The greatest gift ever!

God IS able but are you willing?

God IS able but are you willing?
If you believe in God and have a relationship with Him then why do we
think that God isn't able? I don't see in the Bible where it says God
isn't able. The same God that created the universe and you, the same
God that moved the mountains and parted the red sea! God is never
changing! He was able to do that and is STILL Able to do anything! Are
we willing though? Are we willing when we are hurt and broken to trust
God and have enough faith to know that He WILL help us? Just like a
friendship its a two way street. God is there, holding out His arms..
Saying child just turn your eyes to me.. Child trust me... Child don't
rush.. I know what's best for you! But more important God says Child
you are mine and I love you NO matter what! I claim the verses
Proverbs 3:5-6 for the longest time. I say I'm going to live by these
verses but really haven't. " trust in the Lord your God will all your
heart." I'm far from perfect. I sometimes think my way is the best.
And Dear God I'm sorry. I know my way isn't the best. And I want your
will, nothing more, nothing less! We should know that God has our
backs and His plan is the best. You better beat the same God who
created you just the way He wanted too, has a plan for your life too.
He wasn't just going to stop after He created you! God is so able and
God loves you so much. When your going through a hard time( preaching
to myself here) stop... And pray. Turn to your loving Father and say I
need you! He will meet you right were you are saying Child I'll help
you! Be still and listening to His voice.
Father God,
Let the chains be broken and our eyes be open. Father your are good
all the time. I thank you that your holy spirit is alive and active! I
love you so much God! Dear God, I pray that when we are down we will
turn to you. When we don't know anymore I Thank You that You know and
will help us. Father let each day we are alive ,we will be living for
you. God you have control of my life and right now and forever I'm
trusting You. I want Your will and nothing more. As we go through life
and don't know I thank you that you will show us the way! In Jesus'

Dance for Jesus...

Worship is a huge part of my life. I love to praise my Holy and
Amazing Father. I haven't been much of a crazy woship person. Like you
see the people jummping around like crazy people and you think
okkkayy. But what I didn't relize that they were so on fire for God!
It's amazing when your free and when your encouter God face to face
how much your worship changes! I went to a hillsong concert a few
weeks ago and it was amazing. To be in a room filled with so many
people on fire for God and the Holy Spirit in the room, amazing! As of
right now we have the freedom to worship God in public. I know I want
for people to see me and see my light. Dear God, awake our souls!
Father each day I want to know your more and Father be more like you!
Your love for us is never ending and I thank you for that Father! I
pray that your will will be done in me! Father right now there are so
many people who needs healing. I praise you for the healing i've seen
you done in my life. God I know that you are able! Nothing is
impossible with you! Please right now touch their bodies! We bind the
devil in Jesus' name he can no longer have a part of these peoples
lives. We claim victory! Dear God let these people be a walking
testimony for what you and only you have done in there lives. Father
every day let us not forget what your son did for us! Each day let us
use our mouths for telling others about you.( we aren't promised
tomorrow. We need to make everyday count. We need to share Jesus with
the people in our paths while we still can. We need to get these

Thought for today...

Sometimes our tears is like a foreign language to even our closest friends. but the maker of every language understand the meaning of each tear,and He speaks and heals my broken language.(<-- Thank you Gabby for sending me this part.)
We are so quick to turn to our friends when we are hurt. Like when a small child gets hurt and reaches for its parents,we should do the same with God. We are that small child needing our Fathers help.You may say but God knows what I'm going threw,and He does. But He loves you so much to send His only begotten Son to die for you. wants to have your heart! He wants to be your everything. When your down ,He wants you to turn your eyes to Heaven. When your hurt He wants to be your Father and heal you. You have to be willing and you have enough faith to know that God will heal you and dry up your tears if you let Him! Lay your life and hurts at the foot of the cross. The almighty God that formed you in your mother womb will heal you! Because He loves you THAT much!

Ill take a stand...

Thanksgiving is coming up. Thanksgiving is bitter sweet at my house. We lost so many family memebers. That's the bitter part. The sweet part is that they aren't in anymore pain. They are missed dearly each day.
Dear Father,
I am very thankful for you sending your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. And thank you Jesus that we did! You could have said no. Dear God, we pray each day we don't lose faith and hope in You. Day after day I see your mighty hands working. Each day I can't thank you enough for my life and the lifes of my friends. Father I want to be courageous for you! All I am is yours. I'm trusting in you alone. I know that You are always there for me and will never leave me. Thank you that Your Word is never changing. I pray that each day we will turn our eyes to heaven and lost grip of things of this earth. Each day I pray we will walk boldy and take a stand for You!  Father this moment I'm chosing the way of truth! Darkness has taking over people lives way to long! Thank you that You are light! Thank you for being our Father.

Prayer

I've been so blessed that I get to teach young girls every Sunday
morning. To be able to pour God's Word into their lifes has been
amazing. All Glory goes to God! As I was thinking about what to teach,
I thought "temptations." It would follow my testimony from last week.
However when I was praying,God showed me "prayer." Prayer is really
imporant in my life. It's something I need a reminder on how we should
pray. Truth is alot of times my prayers can be short and sweet.(Psalms
145:18)God desires our prayers to be heart felt. Psalms 37:5"open up
before God keep nothing back." I had to stop and think about this one
because God already knows everything. I came up with this:just as a
child is holding their arms up,reaching for their parents. We are the
child in this case. When they is reaching their arms up ,the parents
feels needed. God is a jealous God. I think that as we lift our hands
and say "God I need you!!" God feels wanted by His child.
Phil.4:6-7 " pray about everything,worry about nothing. " Oh God!! We
are human. Lol but God knows that. I'm going to tape this verse up so
everyday when I see it, it reminds me to pray instead of worrying.
Because I do that. Alot. Don't we all!?
So.. I hear you saying okay sounds great. But.. When we pray doesn't
it have to be fancy!? Answer- No. Matthew 6:6-8 tells us there isn't a
formula we have to go by. Praying is just talking to your Father.
So we always pray in good times... What about bad times? In 1Thes.
5:16 it tells you to pray all times, even in bad times. Because there
is good times to come!
And for the ones who don't know Christ. If you want a personal
relationship with Him, it's really easy. I encourage you right now to
pray this prayer-Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God and You
died for me. Please come into my heart an be my Lord and Savior. I ask
you to forgive me all of my sins and cleanse me with your precious
blood, take control of every area of my life from this moment on.
Jesus fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to be used for Your
glory. I want to serve you,love you, obey you all the days of my life
and make a difference in the lives of others. Father, thank you for
making me your child. In Jesus' Holy Name. Amen.

God loves you so much.

Me again....

I know it's been forever since I posted anything. I'm super sorry
readers. Since the last time I posted not much has changed. I have
braces now and all the dentist appointments are crazy! Lol
Since i'm blogging... I want to just say something realy quick about
God's love for us. Everyone has a heart, and I desire to be loved.
What we don't remeber is that our hearts should be filled with God's
love. Many times we feel that spot where God should be with different
things and different loves. God loves you all the time. In life there
will be people who say I love you then hurt you. But with God that
never will happend. Each day we should feel the spot in our hearts
with God's love. He always loves us no matter what!!

God is good all the time!!!

My aunt. I could stop there but then it would leave you all wondering.
Lol So! My aunt this weekend went to an encounter. My aunt wasn't
raised as a radical Christian. She didn't believe I'm speaking in
tounges or anything. This weekend she got healed!! She was in a really
bad car addident about a year now. Seeing her in pain was horrible.
Now she's FREE to dance!! Praise God!! And she got her prayer lang.
Central is an amazing church! Thank you all who makes the encounter
possible! I just thank God for answering our prayers. It's so amazing
to see God work. It's all about planting seeds! Each day we have a
chance to show God's love. In many ways we can! If you see someone at
the store that needs help.. Help them! It will mean alot to them!
Let's be victorious today and be His hands and feet.

This one is for you...

I have this friend, who is dear to my heart. They have been going through a lot of pain and suffering. It really breaks my heart that they had to go through it. My friend is a great person. I try each day to give them a message of hope. So this is for you... 1 Peter 5:10 "In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation." You are most defiantly going through the stage of restoring right now. I know each and everyday is hard. I know you believe the Bible to be true, Please grab hold of this and run with it. God is a healing God. He loves all of his Children. We don't know why we had to go through suffering.. But it's part of His plan. You ARE going to be victorious one day, You ARE going to be changing people's lives. I'm really proud of you. You made the choice to change and God will honor that. Each day press more and more into His Word. Let Him guide you. (Proverbs 3: 5-6) Listen for His voice.. He will guide you. I know He will.

 Last but not least.. Jeremiah 3:33 "Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own."

 

Always in my prayers..

 

This week I've been going thur stuff. I've been mad and angry at
someone. However my great friend was like Hannah you need to forgive
this person. I was like I know and will when I want too. But then I
remember that God didn't say when I'm ready to forgive them I will. No
He did it right away. We should always forgive right away. We
shouldn't hold our feelings in because all it does it makes us bitter
and angry. It's easier just to talk to the person and explain your
feelings.

Another day to be used in the Kingdom. Let's make today count!

Carol-Ann Parker, the mother of two Mckenzie and Brett and a wife; dear friends of mine and the kids I babysat for for years, was in the car cash Sunday on I-26 in South Carolina that sent 5 people to the hospital, flown or drove. One car in the west bound lane was changing lanes when it hit another car that swerved over into the east bound lane and hit two cars head-on (one of which was Carol-Ann) and then swerved back to the west bound lane where it hit another car. Her husband was flown to the crash site and saw her right after the collision, her two children thankfully did not see her like that but they did go to the hospital Sunday and were there until today when their dad took them back to school in West Columbia. She was in very critical condition when she arrived at Greenville Memorial Hospital. They did immediate surgery and they were able to stop the bleeding and get her stable. The CT scans showed there were no head injuries. She has a breathing tube and can not talk so she is spelling words in peoples hands, early Monday morning she spelled HOME in a loved ones hand so she has a goal to come home to Columbia. It also appears that her right hand and right foot may be broke. She's been running real high fevers, they have been keeping cool rags and running fans on her non-stop. This morning they went in and did a surgery to make sure all issues were addressed, they were and they closed her back up. Her family thought she was recovering great before the doctor came out and told them that her injuries are just that bad and she is still not out of the woods yet meaning anything could happen at anytime. They were also informed that the pancreas has suffered some damage which is making the doctors put in a feeding tube for 4 to 6 weeks, also because of the surgery today they have the ventilator on as well, they are planning to turn it off some time tomorrow, if it doesn't come off its no big deal. She is going to be in the ICU for 2 weeks if not more. It is unsure when she will be returning to Columbia but she has a long recovery and she is fighting for her life. I also found out that a 17 year old teenage girl lost her life this morning after fighting for her life after the crash. Please keep Carol-Ann and the Parker family in your prayers and also the 17 year old girl's family as well. Carol-Ann and her family are very dear friends of mine and mean a lot to me. I love them to death. Thank You All.

Dear God, You know what happen early Sunday morning. Lord I pray that you give the doctors the knowledge the need to properly treat Carol-Ann. I pray you give Carol-Ann the strength she needs to pull through this. She has two young children that love her and want her to come home to them Lord. Give her family the peace they need and the strength they need to help her pull through this. I know its in Your hands now Lord and its up to You. Keep her safe. We all love her dearly. Thank You Lord.

Carol-Ann your a fighter and a trooper and I KNOW you will pull out of this and be home with your children soon! I love you guys a bunch! ##AlwaysInMyHeart

Set The World on Fire for God

I've been so busy lately I haven't had any time to write anything. But here I am to write something. Even if it was three simply words like I love you. It's still something. But I'm not just going to say that. Tonight is the "kick off" for our new youth group at my group. I'm super excited! Our youth group is called "Live Wire." The spark that sets the world on fire.:) Do you know that your acts and being so on fire for God can set the world on fire for God? Well it can! Trust me it can. It starts with you.. Then when you speak love and God's word into someone lives(planting seeds)it can/will change their life. We all have a testimony to share. If we know one of our friends doesn't feel love what do you do? We tell them God loves them and so do you. Right? Well doesn't everyone want to feel loved? People who are Non-Christians? (Pre Christians!) We can have a huge impact.. We don't even know. We really need to take more time and try to become friends with Pre-Christians. No matter what they have done, they are still God's children. (Sin is sin..)However we need to put on the amore of protection so we don't get pulled down. I learned today that God can use anymore. You don't have to be "somebody" to change a life. God uses everyday people just like you and I to impact someone's life. Maybe you think no He doesn't.. But trust me He does. God is always working even when we think He isn't. We should have child like Faith and believe that God is who He says He is!

God works things out!

This week I seen God work things out twice. All glory goes to you
Father. I know with out you God things wouldn't have worked out the
way they did.
What He did:
There was a girl who I hurted a while back. I said I was sorry but she
was still mad at me and I don't blame her. It's been my hears pray
that she might come to forgive me. This morning I get a mesages from
her saying she wasn't mad at me anymore.
*If I didn't give it all to God and just landed it down at His feet,
this wouldn't have happend.

We had this girl living with us. We knew though she should be at her
house with her parents. We didn't want any hard feelings between her
and us though. We have been praying and holding off talking to her.
Last night she told is that she was movig back home.
*no one talked to her about movig back home. Well God did :)

If you sit back I'm sure you can see God working in your life too. You
just have to give it all to God and know that HE HAS YOUR BACK! He
knows what problems you have and He(in His timing) will take care of it.

What Does the Bible Have to Say About Prayer?

The Bible has a lot to say about prayer. The first mention of prayer
is found in Genesis, chapter 4.

And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh.
Then men began to call on the name of the LORD. (NKJV)
What is the Correct Posture for Prayer?

There is no correct or certain posture for prayer. In the Bible people
prayed on their knees (1 Kings 8:45), bowing (Exodus 4:31), on their
faces before God (2 Chronicles 20:18; Matthew 26:39), and standing (1
Kings 8:22). You may pray with your eyes opened or closed, quietly or
out loud—however you are most comfortable and least distracted.
Should I Use Eloquent Words?

Your prayers need not be wordy or impressive in speech.
Matthew 6:7
"When you pray, don't babble on and on as people of other religions
do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their
words again and again." (NLT)
Ecclesiastes 5:2
Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to
utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so
let your words be few. (NIV)
Why Should I Pray?

• Prayer Develops Our Relationship with God.
If we never speak to our spouse or never listen to anything our spouse
might have to say to us, our marriage relationship will quickly
deteriorate. It is the same way with God. Prayer—communicating with
God—helps us grow closer and more intimately connected with God.
Zechariah 13:9
I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure, just as
gold and silver are refined and purified by fire. They will call on my
name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'These are my people,' and
they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' " (NLT)

But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask
any request you like, and it will be granted! (NLT)
• The Lord Instructed Us to Pray.
One of the simplest reasons to spend time in prayer is because the
Lord instructed us to pray. Obedience is a natural by-product of
discipleship.

"Keep alert and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you. For
though the spirit is willing enough, the body is weak!" (NLT)

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should
always pray and not give up. (NIV)

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for

What If I Don't Know How to Pray?

The Holy Spirit will help you in prayer when you don't know how to pray.
Romans 8:26-27
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know
what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us
with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts
knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the
saints in accordance with God's will. (NIV)

Lords Prayer-
The prayer as it occurs in Matthew 6:9–13
"Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

I'm trying to think of something to write, something I haven't already. That is kind of hard to do because I have already written about mostly everything. One thing that I have on my heart right now is how we act. We should each and every day pick up our crosses and follow God. We should be HIS walking and living testimonies. This Sunday in Sunday School it is so important for the girls I teach to Pray. I had them each say a little pray or big pray about what was on their heart. One of my girls thanked God for the people in her life that helped her get closer to God and made it easier for her to spread His word.Then she said especially Hannah. I'm a cryer. So of course I cried some. I always thought"There's girls aren't learning anything." You have to understand children are children and they can't sit still. So that is why I thought that. We don't realized how much we mean to someones live until that sweet moment where they tell you. It goes to show that even if you don't think your impacting someones life, you truly are.If you are showing them how to live by example then where can you go wrong. We can't. :)

Words you say...

Have you ever put a little bit to much of toothpaste on your tooth
brush? After we do we say oh no I don't want to waste it, so I will
just put it back in the tube. However then we learn we can't. It's the
same way with the negative words we speak to one another. We can't
take our words back. What we say to one another will effect us to the
rest of our lives. (Even more so of you are a girl.) Our bodies are
the Holy Temple that incluese our mouth. We don't see God putting
people down. We should be speaking encourging words to one another,
lifting one another up. 1 Thess. Says "therefore encourage one
another, build each other up. " We say but this people did this to me
so I'm going to say somethig hateful to them. But they are God's
children as well. Like the old saying" if you don't have nothing nice
to say, don't say it at all." Today let's start sharing the love and
lifting one another up. Spread love to the ones who you know needs God
in thier lives. You have the power to be an impact on their lives.
You have a light(Christ in you) and people will see that light in you.

This is for everyone who feels like no one cares. I know that in this
world it seems alot of times that no one cares, not even your parents
at times. But If I know one thing to be true, it's God always cares.
We forget at times that He does. He created us and He always love us
because that's who He is. He sees what we do and how we act. "for the
Lord is a God who knows. He evaluates what people do. " when you do
something good and you know it's something good that you did, but no
one els sees it. God did. I know I the " that a boy" person. I like to
be told you did a great job. I know that I know my parents and people
are proud of me when they don't tell me. But I'm human and need to be
told. I have been learning though that God sees what I do and my
rewards are in heaven. Thank you Dear God that You are always there
with me and that you care. Even when I don't care anymore you care.
Thank you Dear God for being so amazing!! Oh Dear God your great love
never fails. Give us the strenght to make it thru everyday knowing you
are there for us. Dear God I have been witnessing Your great work
being done all around me. Father guide our steps each and every day.
Thank you for being our Father.

Change of plans.

For many years I thought I had my life planned out. I was going to
open up a Christian based preschool. I had it all down to the t. But
one week can change that all. I went and took the CPT for the fourth
time and still didn't pass. But would you know God didn't want me to
pass that test. Funny to think that but it's so true. After I failed
the test, He laid missionary on my heart. I had a strong feeling it
was something I was going to do. I kind of kept that thought to
myself. I was just asking God like always if this is what you want me
to do, give someone els conformation. I dont want to say that I didn't
have faith that He would. It's just I've ask conformation on other
things and haven't got it yet. But thank you God that you did this
time. We were done with our last 30 week school of leaders class and
we had a prayer session. I knew what two people I wanted to pray with
and super glad I got to pray with them. I just asked prayer for
direction for the furture. And when the one of the ladies was praying
she said"God just told me He will be taking you out of your comfort
zone. Missioanry." and then I started to cry. I don't know why I
started to cry. At first i'm was like God but what about preschool?
But then I knew I couldn't question God's plans. I knew I had to stay
faithful to Him and to know He knows what's best for my life. Its His
will and plan. I stand in amazing how great God is. Please keep me in
prayer. For I don't know where/ when I will be doing it. But God does!

Seeing God working...

These past few days I've seen God answer prayers and work in lifes. Its so amazing to be apart of the greatest thing happening today.. God building His Church. (Church=all the Christians..not the building) People can say there is no God but I'm here to tell you that there is a God. And God loves you so much. We should always praise Him in the good and bad.
Thank you God for all the works I have been seeing you do!!

Our God is so great!
Yesterday I had a blast at Disney and got some very exciting news from
my friend who met us at Disney. She got saved!! I was two seconds from
doing a happy dance right in the middle of Disney! Lol Thank you
God! :) thank you that your love never fails and you love us always.
Prayer request-her grandpa is in the hospital. Please pray for him.
And she needs a Church home.

Last night I went to ladies small group because no one showed up for the teens. I love the ladies small group because 1.they have cookies! and 2. Awesome Bible study time. Don't get me wrong I love my group too. Last night my eyes were open up to a lot of things. I've been going through so stuff this week. Stuff with my future and my enemies. I don't know what God wants me to do in life right now. I mean I kind of know but not 100% sure now. I'm praying about it though. That's the great thing about God. He knows! :) My small group leader handed me a card and on the card it read"Who among the gods is like You,Oh Lord? Who is like You-majestic in Holiness,awesome in glory, working wonders? stretch out Your right hand and deal with my enemy, Oh God! (Exodus 15:11-12)" This was totally a God thing because I didn't tell her what was going on. See I'm going to be 100% open with you all. There is someone that I've known for years now. When I got homeschooled I left this person behind  in my past. However I keep seeing this person. And this person is hanging out with some of my friends and I was getting jealous. All in school all this person ever did was steal my friends. It brought up alot of the past. I mean I know my friends love me. Last night one of my prayer request was for this situation. One of the ladies that I was praying with said" You need to look at this person like God looks at this person." THAT was a big smack on the face! I was like oh my gosh I do!

So there is two points of this story.

1: God knows where He wants you at in life. Keep on following Him and seeking Him every day, every minute, every second of the day.Be in love with Jesus.

2: God has your back! & Look at your enemies like God looks at them!  They are God's children too. He loves them just as much as He loves you. Be a light to their life instead of hating on them. The past is the past. (And yes I'm preaching to myself right now..)

 

I love you BUT God loves you more. :)

Christian Friends...

5 Traits of True Christian Friends

So, what does a true Christian friendship look like? Let's break it down into traits that are easy to identify.

Christian Friends Love Sacrificially

John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (NIV)

Jesus is the finest example of a true Christian friend. His love for us is sacrificial, never selfish. He demonstrated it not only through his miracles of healing, but more fully through the humble service of washing the disciples' feet, and then ultimately, when he laid down his life on the cross.

If we choose our friends based only on what they have to offer, we'll rarely discover the blessings of a genuine friendship. Philippians 2:3 says, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." By valuing your friend's needs above your own, you'll be on your way to loving like Jesus. In the process, you'll likely gain a true friend.

Christian Friends Accept Unconditionally

Proverbs 17:17
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (NIV)

We discover the best of friendships with brothers and sisters who know and accept our weaknesses and imperfections.

If we're easily offended or hold on to bitterness, we'll have a hard time making friends. No one is perfect. We all make mistakes now and then. If we take a truthful look at ourselves, we'll admit that we bear some of the blame when things go wrong in a friendship. A good friend is quick to ask forgiveness and ready to be forgiving.

Christian Friends Trust Completely

Proverbs 18:24
A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (NIV)

This proverb reveals that a true Christian friend is trustworthy, indeed, but emphasizes a second important truth as well. We should only expect to share complete trust with a few loyal friends. Trusting too easily can lead to ruin, so be careful about putting your confidence in a mere companion. Over time our true Christian friends will prove their trustworthiness by sticking closer than a brother or sister.

Christian Friends Keep Healthy Boundaries

1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy ... (NIV)

If you feel smothered in a friendship, something is wrong. Likewise, if you feel used or abused, something is amiss. Recognizing what's best for someone and giving that person space are signs of a healthy relationship. We should never let a friend come between us and our spouse. A true Christian friend will wisely avoid intruding and recognize your need to maintain other relationships.

Christian Friends Give Mutual Edification

Wounds from a friend can be trusted ... (NIV)

True Christian friends will build each other up emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Friends like to be together simply because it feels good. We receive strength, encouragement, and love. We talk, we cry, we listen. But at times we also have to say the difficult things our dearest friend needs to hear. Yet, because of the shared trust and acceptance, we are the one person who can impact our friend's heart, for we know how to deliver the hard message with truth and grace. I believe this is what Proverbs 27:17 means when it says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

My hope is that these five traits will show you areas that may need a little work in your effort to build stronger friendships. But if you don't have lots of close friends, don't be too hard on yourself. Remember, true Christian friendships are rare treasures. They take time to nurture, but in the process we grow more Christlike.

Choices

In life you have to make choices. The choices you make will either hurt you or help you. Even when you think you making the "right choice" in the long run it will be the wrong choice. We know what is right or wrong. God gives us the choice to make either the right choice or wrong one. We should listen to God's voice and just wait til He says what choice to make. I just pray for all of us that when we have to make a choice, we will make the right choice.When you make the right choice but you feel sad that you had to make that choice, know that in the long run it will pay off.

Encouragement..

My little cousin this morning was standing on top of the table then jumped expecting that I was going to catch her. Well... I did. I thought how true this was with us and God. When we take a leap out of Faith on something we expect God will be right with us.(and He will be! Thank You God!) And that when we "fall down" He will pick us up. I'm so glad that God's Word never changes and that when I fall down He will pick me up. However, You have to be willing to get back up. If you are down just don't stay down! God loves you SO MUCH. He wants you to get back up and try again. Just because there's a wall in front of you just don't say" There's a wall,oh well" Say "there's a wall and I'm going to get over it." God will never give you too much that you can't handle. He will always be right by your side helping you along. Never give up. And your life is important! Never think "my life means nothing..." Because your life means everything to others around you and to God. God created you for a God given reason. You are made to full filled a God given purpose on earth. Always remember that I love you but God loves you more.

Major Prayer Request

 This 30 year old lady named Amanda has stage 4 brain cancer. She is 35 weeks pregnant.She decided to not abort the baby and since shes pregnant she hasn't been able to take anything for the cancer. She doesn't have any family or help,no job. She always has 3 or 4 other kids. I know that my God is bigger than any cancer out there! I need strong believers to pray with me for Amanda.

 

I never meet this lady and feel like I've known her forever. For her to keep the baby just made me break out in tears. She wasn't selfish!

Yes Christians have bad days too...

Many people might think that Christians never have bad days...But we do! It's just what you do with that bad day. You can either keep on making it a bad day or you can turn to Jesus and make it a good day. Today, Honestly, I don't feel good and in some pain. I could keep letting me not feeling good and the pain keep me down but I REFUSE TOO! I will not give the devil a foot hold into my live. I Refuse too!  I know my God is BIGGER and GREATER and can take away the pain. (Please God!!!) So how can you turn a bad day into a good one? Well for me I love to listen to up beat Christian Music. (Always makes me feel better!) Also know that God loves you and can do ANYTHING for you! You are HIS Child and HE LOVES YOU VERY MUCH. HE will hold your hand and life you up when you are down. Always praise HIS Holy name when you think your having a bad day.

Super Crazy...But God is great!

I had the most craziest weekend ever. My life never stops! And going to bed late and waking up early isn't helping. I cleaned all day long on Saturday. My feet were killing me. Sunday woke up early, changed 5 times before a decided on a dress. Went to Church only to Pray over the Church for the Holy Spirit to come. (HE DID!!) Then after I got done praying it was off to teach Sunday School. Which was great! We read Romans 12 and picked out all the Christian Characters listed in that chapter. Please keep me in prayer! I want the kids to learn something out of my messages. And some times I don't feel like they do. From hardly no sleep and it being early in the morning, I tend to mess up some words. Which the kids pointed out. Thank God I'm not so uptight and yelled at them. I just laughed with them instead. Then it was off to the service. Worship was amazing! You can tell the Holy Spirit was in the Church. Prayer was good as always. The message was great! Our Pastor preached out of Romans 12. (copy cat!!) I was like "MOM! that's what I preached out of too!" He talked about how we shouldn't be playing Church and how to renew our minds. And at Our Church it wouldn't be a great service without something messing up. lol Right when the Pastor was talking about how to renew our minds, His mic went out. (We record all the services in case someone misses one they can listen to it on CD) Then one of the older guys ran and I mean ran and got new batteries. It was funny. The devil thought he could mess us up but GOD is GREATER!

Build Someone Up..Don't tear them down..

Last night thinking "What should my Sunday School lesson should be this week?" Right away God showed me that I should teach about how to build someone up. In my Sunday School class there is a brother and sister. My sister has been telling me how the brother would just sit there and tear his sister down.(Red Flag!) It drives me crazy when brothers(or boys..) sit there and just tear their sisters(Or girls...) down like their feelings mean nothing. And same with girls! (Girls are just as guilty.) Girls shouldn't be tearing their brothers down. Us as Christians should building each other up. When you see one of your fellow peers did something great, don't be jealous! You should tell them wow what a great job! If your a Christian and believe in the Bible check out what it has to say about building someone up: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."

1 Corinthians 14:26"What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up."

 Hebrews 10:25"Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Colossians 3:15"And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."

It's really important that we build one another up. If we tear them down over and over again we are just leaving more scars for them. What you say to one another really effects and hurts them. I've been there on both sides. The one dishing it out and the one sitting there hurting. I'm just as guilty. I never really thought about what I say could effect someone until I saw someone younger than me hurt from what someone said.

If I ever said anything that brought you down, I'm deeply sorry. If I ever again say something that hurts you, please come to me and tell me. I don't want you to be mad at me forever. I want you all to call me out when I hurt you.

Scars..

Everyone has scars, or most everyone does. I know that I have alot of them and every one of them tells a story. It's the same with the scares on our hearts too. Every one of the scars on our hearts tells a story. I know I have a bunch of them on my heart. But I'm thankful I went through everything I did so I can help other people with the same scars.As we grow up we will get more scars physical and emotional. However Malachi 3:6 says"For I am the Lord, I do not change."  Although we may change God never does. (Amen!!!) When you get hurt, God, your God, is always going to be there for you.Deuteronomy 31:6 says" Be strong and courageous Do not fear or be in dread of them,for it is the Lord,your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." I thank God from the bottom of my heart that He will NEVER leave me.(or you!)  As I was reading my old prayers I've written to God, that was one thing I would always ask. Now today I realized He never left me, I just was leaving Him. However He had His hand on my life and was always with me. He will always be there for you too. No matter what. He is your Father and will NEVER leave you. And I can assure you He will always love you no matter what. I can assure you this, because He never left me and always loved me. Plus the Bible tells you so! :)

 

 

Help Less...

I've been a babysitter for about 4 years now. I LOVE kids with all my heart. If I babysit a kid for more than a day than they are like my brother or sister. I've been babysitting my little cousin since she was 4 months old. She is now 2 years of age. Yesterday she was sleeping,woke up and I was holding her while she fall back asleep. Then she started having a seizure while I was holding her. I was scared. I was..Help Less. We knew the only thing I could do was call 911 and her mom and pray. Shaking and crying, We did these things.In a time like this where someone who you love is in need of help that you can't give them, it makes you realize just how big we are. Which isn't big at all. The ONLY person who is greater and bigger is God! :) I THANK God from the bottom of my heart that He had His mighty hands holding her.In a time when we feel so help less we should always turn to God. He's the one that will give you help!  Anything could have happen but what happend was she stopped having the seizure. She is now home and running a high fever but shes doing good. She's so tuff. Thank You God again for keeping my little girl safe.

God Answers Prayers...

So many of you know that I lead the Sunday School class at my Church for the pre-teens. I also ask for prayer request before I close in a prayer. One of my girls in the class asked prayer for her sick dog. Another one asked prayer for her grandpa. This pasted Sunday my lesson was on don't be surprised when God answers your prayers. The one girl reported that her Grandpa was better. Than other girl (who didn't come to Sunday School,but she her after Church) say that after I prayed for her dog,it got better! I can't take any credit, I'm just a vessel. I told her that that was all God. We all shouldn't be surprised when God answers our Prayers. I mean, He parted the sea and moved mountains. OUR GOD CAN DO ANYTHING! :) When He answers our Prayers we SHOULD always thank Him for answering them. Also when we are Praying, Claim victory ahead of time. One more thing... When you Pray for something, Pray and keep on Praying!

Going out and being God's hands and feet...

This past Sunday, our Church has two guest speakers. (Jon Hamilton and his daughter Naomi who's a Missionary to the Philippines.) Mr. Hamilton spoke about how America's Churches are growing at all. It was very sad to hear this! He said that Churches over seas where growing faster than the ones here. It blew our whole Church's mind! Everyone was shocked. I always thought about doing mission trips to places like the Philippines or China. However after listening to Mr. Hamilton it was landed on my heart to start doing mission trips right here in the U.S. The U.S Churches aren't growing. More are closing down each and everyday. However! We can be God's hands and feet and go out and teach other people what we have been taught. Of course, what I've been taught is all backed up by the Bible. Who's with me?

God is SO GREAT!

It's so awesome how God works. I had a partner for my class but she quit on me. So I found a new partner and she was a Christian! I was so happy. We have became pretty good friends I would say. Recently she's been going through something. I'm so blessed to be able to help her out some. Come to find out she has help close to her and with the people I know, I'm able to find out information for her. I can't take any credit for this though because it's all God. He KNEW what was going to happen before it even did. He KNEW! I'm almost in tears because of how GREAT He is!
This is for my friend-
God loves you so much! He knew this was going to happen before you did. There is Hope. When you are down, turn to God. He wants your to run to Him, and cast your cares on Him. When ever you feel like you don't know and have no one;you have your heavenly Father. He forgives you!

What's been going on...

I haven't wrote anything in a while. I have been debating if I should share this or not. But I know it's of God, so I will. Last week to this day I was prophesied over at Church by the Pastor's Wife. I'm not going to go into a lot of deatailed of what she saw but I know what she saw is true. I know this because in small groups, our leader made up these prayer things as Jesus was saying it to us. With my small group leader not knowing what the Pastor's Wife saw, she wrote everything that she saw. After I read the Prayer, I said "OMGOSH!" When I saw my mom, I let her read the prayer and she was amazed. She didn't say anything but wow. Then I let our Pastor's Wife read it and she was so happy and excited! Also Sunday I was asked to lead the Childern's Sunday School. At my church before you are released to do anything, you have to prove yourself. So for me to do this is a big deal! I was asked to pray about it, so I have been. And in the prayer it said" You will reach the young souls and bring them closer to me." I got my answer. I start this Sunday. Pray for me!

I am...a role model.
I sometime think "Oh no one is looking up to me." But that's not the truth. Truth is at home I have 3 little ones looking up to me. I know my little sister does, and honestly I haven't been the best role model. I know this for a fact. And I feel really bad. The choices that I have made effected her as well as everyone els. I know hearing from her how she looks up to me, made me want to change for the best.
I know my little cousin does too. (Shes the little girl in the picture.) I've been blessed to been able to watch her since she was 4 months. Although she is only 2, we have got very close to each other.She's just like me. In the mornings when I'm getting ready, she does everything I do. Its so cute! One thing that has touch my heart about her is she started praying when we pray. We asked her grandma if she prays at home too and her response made my heart melt. Her response was" Oh yes! Every time before we eat she does..Even when we go out to eat!" This made me SO HAPPY! I know one day, Sumberlie will be a mighty women of God. :)
This goes to shows that you do made a impact on kids lives. Even when you think you don't you do! These kids are our next generation. I would love to see that generation so on fire for God that they shake up their towns! It's possible. Everything is possible. So if you are a Christian, don't just play Church. Be like Christ would be every where you go and everything you do. Keep God in the center of everything. Because Christian means Little Christ. :)

Dear Mrs. Booz,
I’m pro-life. There isn’t anyone or anything that can change my mind about being pro-life. I also have a personal relationship with Jesus which plays a big part on why I’m pro-life. I volunteer at our local pregnancy center. Volunteering there you learn a lot of new facts. Facts that will shock you.
The fact that shocked me the most is that a child in their mother’s womb isn’t considered a child. There are not any laws to protect the child in its mother’s womb. If a women comes into the center and they are doing drugs, ect: they can’t report them due to this law. This law isn’t right one bit. In the Bible in Psalm 139:13-16 it states” For you(God) created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth ,your eyes saw my unformed body.” Another verse in Isaiah 44:2 states “This is what the Lord says-he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you.” These verses state ever so clearly that the child in the mother’s womb is consider a child.
Another fact is that our tax money pays for the abortions. However, the government won’t give any money to any Christian Based organizations. All of the local pregnancy centers do not get any money from the government. Also any Christian Based Preschool doesn’t get any money from the government. The processes of abortions are cruel and not right. I will not go into detail of how they happened. But I can tell you that they kill the baby inside of the womb. As I stated before they don’t consider babies, babies inside the womb. When the baby takes their first breathe then they are consider a child. An abortion to Christians is murder. An abortion kills the fetus and God states in Exodus 20:13”You shall not murder.”
If someone had an abortion and feel like God could never love them again…That’s not true. A sin is a sin, no matter how big or small. In 1 John 1:9-2:1 it states” If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our lives. My dear Children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense-Jesus Christ!” You can be forgiven!

I am... a people pleaser. I hate when people are mad or upset at me. One thing I've learned is that I wasn't put on this earth to please people. I was put on this earth to please Jesus! It's hard. Not going to lie. But it's something I have to do! :)

Obey Your Parents!

So, my dad told my brother that he would pick up a part for my brother's truck. Instead of my brother listening to my dad...he went to pick up the part himself. And guess what.. When my brother was backing up this car was pulling in.. And BAM. Lucky there is no damage to my brother's truck. But the car has some. However if my brother had listen to my dad, none of this would have happened.
So many times we don't obey our parents or people that God has placed in authority.God gave you parents or placed people in authority for a reason. I know a lot of times we are like "Why them God?" But God knows why! He has a plan. So word of wisdom for today:Listen and Obey the people God has placed in authority over you! (That means parents!)

An awesome book about authority is"Under Cover" It's a must read book! :)

Testimony

I've shared my testimony with a lot of people. For those of you who haven't heard/read it here it is!

I grew up knowing Jesus Christ. As far as I can remember we always went to Church. I always considered my religion as Christian. Growing up in this world we are not supposed to be our this world. However with me not having a solid rock relationship with God, I fell into some dark paths. Once the light shined on the dark, I started to change my life around. It took three mistakes for my eyes to be opened. I realized then God wasn't one hundred percent in my life like He should be. But God, Our God wiped my sins away. All you have to do is ask and mean it from the bottom of your heart. I then knew that God loves me infinity. His love for us is never ending! I got freed from my past. How? I just asked God! Ever since that day I knew I wanted to have a better relationship with God. I've been reading my Bible more and spending time Praying. I told you I considered my religion as Christian, but now I can say I have a solid rock relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you ever watch Swamp People you would know where my title come from. Of course this post isn't going to be about gators or anything to do with that show. However in life, have you ever had something that shook up your life? I know many times,I have had my life shook up. Many of them times are when my family members died. When we get our lives shook up, who do we run too? It should be Jesus! But a lot of times it's not Him. But I'm here to tell you that He loves you so much! His love for you is infinity. NEVER ENDING! And when you have a problem so much bigger than you, run to Him. Pray about it! Give it to God. :) He knows exactly how to help you, if you let Him. Not only does He love you but so do I. :)

Last night after our School of Leaders class, Mrs. Wendy (my "grandma") needed prayer. The Pastor's wife and a bunch of us ladies gathered around to Pray. Mrs.Wendy has a lot of her shoulders right now and just needed prayer for all the upcoming things. So Mrs. Linda(Pastor's wife) asked me to open up the prayer! She said God lay it on her heart for me to pray. I was really honored that out of everyone she asked me too. I usually get so nervous when I'm praying on the spot that I mess every word up! However, I didn't mess one word up. :)

Happy National day of Prayer! :)

Hush Child and Wait on My Timing....

A lot of times we aren't patient and don't wait on God's timing. When we don't wait on God's timing, we miss out on everything God has in store for us! I know that I want everything that God has to give to me. It's hard being patient but in the end it's worth it. When we are being patient we should always pray. The power of prayer is awesome! Ask anything in the name of Jesus and if it's in God's will it will be done. Right now Im praying about something and being patient. But when we pray we need to pray and keep on praying. Seek and keep on Seeking!

Sometimes I don't know anymore. But I know God has a plan for my life so I just keep hanging on! :)

Forgive!

You know,we lose people each and every day. It might be someone in your family or it might be a close friend. Rathur it be a death or just a friendship. You know how we act good and are on the right track with life because we want our family to be proud of us? Well what's the difference when they are gone? They are still watching you.
Another thing is forgiveness. We all have a hard time forgiving people. Colossians 3:13 says "Forgive as the Lord forgave you." As difficult as forgiveness can be, if you desire to get your heart right with God and to heal, you must accept God's forgiveness and forgive as God has forgiven you.
Also know that if you don't forgive others, God will not forgive you. (Matthew 6:14-15)

You know..

You know its pretty amazing when you 2 year old cousin says "I want to go pray." That just makes my day! It's sad that she is the only cousin we really have anything to do with. And that is because I babysit her. The rest of her family doesn't have a personal relationship with Jesus. I'm sure they believe in Him, but they are living in sin. It is sad to think that in a couple years, I won't be watching her anymore. I plan on Kidnapping her tho. I think the part I'm most scared about is thinking of her not going to Heaven. I mean now she will pray, but that's only because she sees my family praying. Many people will probably she "Oh shes not really praying!" But how do they know? They don't. No one really does but God. It's really important to teach young kids about God. They are the next generation. If we don't teach the young kids now, their generation will be corrupted. I know I don't want that to happen for sure! I love my little cousin. :)

2 years ago..

Its been about 2 years that I haven't posted anything. I don't know why. I guess because so much happen within the 2 years. Honestly, I can't believe its already been 2 years! My headliner is "walking with Jesus" and honesly back then I wasn't walking with Jesus. I had ALOT of growing up to do. And I had to get out of being in the dark everyday. Once you have seen the light, you never want to go back to darkest. Im in a happy place right now. God has been using me in many ways I would have never thought of. I help lead a GriefShare group for teens. It's been amazing to help other teens girls get some joy back into their lifes. I go to a Bible Study every week. That has been a real eye opener. I love the Church we are going to now. Our Pastor wants us to become leaders. That means going to a "School of leaders" class. I love it! We have been learning things that Pastor usally don't talk about. Things like, prayer langanuge, casting out demons, angles,prophetic ministries,intercession,fasting the right way,and ect. That's just some of the many stuff! Anyways life has been good. :) I'll write again tomorrow.
