Face the Truth About Yourself 

Someone once asked how I live free from my oppressive past. My answer is very simple: God has given me the grace and the willingness to face the truth about myself. 

I grew up in a war zone. Because of my quick temper, I was upset most of the time. Because of being upset, I grew up depressed, disappointed and discouraged. I wished I could have a better life, but my wishing didn't solve anything. It wasted my time as I kept blaming my problems on my bad family background. 

Finally, God helped me realize that I had to stop wishing and start taking responsibility, to quit blaming other people and my circumstances, and quit making excuses for myself. 

You might be in a similar situation. Facing the truth about yourself is scary, but you don't have to do it alone. All your flaws are exposed to God, and if you ask Him for His perspective, He will help you pick yourself up, take responsibility, and live a peaceful life. Today, don't be scared to face the truth about yourself, but let God guide you into a new tomorrow. 

Prayer Starter: Holy Spirit, I need Your help to face the truth about myself. It's time to stop blaming my problems on my past and on other people, and to meet them head-on with the power of Your Word. Empower me to take responsibility and to change for the better.

Good deeds..

Many people think good deeds will get them to heaven. Sadly these people are mistaken. The only way to heaven is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord. "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. "(Romans 10:9)We should do good deeds for the Lord. "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. "(Matthew 5:16) There are many counts in the Bible when Jesus and His disciples healed people. What does it say after the healing? It always says and the people around praise God in Heaven! Same thing with this verse. People will noticed God in you and praise Him. However we have to be careful on our heart when we are doing good deeds. God doesn't like a boastful spirit. It's NOT about look at me look what I've done. It's about truly being God's disciple. "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35) A few weeks ago I was at Walmart and I was trying to pick out milk. There was a older lady reaching towards the very back to get her milk. Now I know i hate that cold heavy door hitting me when I'm getting milk. So without thinking i held open the door for her. The lady was very shocked and couldn't thank me enough. After I was like wow I did that without thinking. God is growing me! And that shows that not to many "young" people think about others. But we are the examples. We are the next generation. How are we going to show the little kids how to act? We can impact their generation. We can and must teach them the right ways. People look at your life and they watch your every move. If they know your a Christian, they will watch you closer. How do you live your life? If people look at you will know they your a Christian living for God? I hope that answer would be a heck yes! I know I want people to look at me and see Jesus in me. I want them to see I'm legit and not playing Church! Further more, I can't wait for missions! I love God  so much and love all of His Childern. To go and help His Childern who need help and need salvation is my calling. That's another thing. Everyone needs to stop judging people. They need to remove the sin from the person. If someone is living in sin, they might not know what they are doing is wrong. We can't judge people based on the sin. 1: we aren't spouses to judge. 2: you would be judging yourself. Really you would be because we are all human and have sin. Just a few thoughts for today.

Take Off the Mask 

So many times we act one way on the outside, but we're actually different on the inside. Because we have weaknesses, faults and fears, things that we think make us less likable or desirable, we'd rather hide them from other people. So we wear masks. 

The danger of wearing a mask is that it misrepresents us. What other people see is a lie. It's not who we are or who we were born to be. We can change the outside, but we can't change who we really are deep down inside. 

We need to realize that God loves us just the way we are right now, and His love for us will never diminish. 

And there's more good news. Second Corinthians 3:18 says that God is changing us and making us more like Himself and fixing the flaws we want to cover up. 

Trust Him enough to take off your mask. You will find, as I have, that you are being changed, little by little, into the very image of your Lord. 

Prayer Starter: Lord, I realize that I often try to wear a mask in order to fit in and find acceptance. Today, I make a decision to find my acceptance in You. As You overwhelm me with Your love, continue to change me into Your great image.

Happy Father's Day!

Today is a really important day for me. It's fathers day! Without my fathers I wouldn't be here today. I have three fathers. Father God who is the best father! I don't think anyone really thinks about saying "happy fathers day" to God. But I do. Because without Him I would be nothing. So to the best father out there Happy Father's day daddy! I love you Father God with all my heart. :)! To the second important father in my life. It hasn't always been easy but he loves me. This friday I'm legally changing my last name to his! It's been something I've been waiting to do. I'm excited and couldn't be more glad to do it. :) I love you daddy. Thanks for taking in mom with three kids. Your the best earthly father. I'm glad to have you in my life. To my real father. I don't hold anything against you. I've forgiven you. Happy fathers day.

Busy. Busy.

Hello my faithful readers. It's has been really crazy on my end lately. I seriously never stop going. Monday I was out of town then had to rush back for my last class at Church. Tuesday I took a walk with a friend then church. And it was a hot walk.:/ Wednesday was a slow day. Had church. :) Thursday was a busy day. Good bye lunch, grief share,church. Yesterday was a busy day as well. I woke up early and went out of town. Had to say goodbye to my grandma. That wasn't fun at all but I did good. I didn't cry and had my support helping me survive the day. (two supports: Jesus and my best friend.:)) then I cleaned when I got back into town. And baked four dozen cookies at 11 at night! Today I woke up early had to go to the church. After that the store then home to bake 5 dozen more cookies. Then back to the church and finally I'm home. Guess what I'm doing.. Cleaning. I'm so burned out. And my back is killing me. Word  of advice: never forget to take a break. Everyone needs ones! If we keep on going and don't stop for a break we will get burned out. And quick! In Due Season 

"Due season" is God's season, not ours. We are in a hurry, God isn't. He takes time to do things right - He lays a solid foundation before He attempts to build a building. We are God's building under construction. He is the Master Builder, and He knows what He is doing. We may not know what He is doing, but He does, and that will have to be good enough. We may not always know, but we can be satisfied to know the One who knows. 

God's timing seems to be His own little secret. The Bible promises us that He will never be late, but I have also discovered that He is usually not early. It seems that He takes every available opportunity to develop the fruit of patience in us. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit that grows under trial. 

Developed potential without character does not glorify God. If we were to become a huge success and yet be harsh with people - that would not be pleasing to the Lord. Therefore, if we get ahead of ourselves in one area, He gently but firmly blocks our progress in that area until the other ones catch up. 

Remember: God is never late. 

Pray: Lord, thank You for Your patience with me. I want everything now, but You are building my life with eternity in mind. I don't understand everything You're doing, but I trust You. Amen.

So I must say today has been a really good day! :) my church family is the BEST! I love my church and everyone in the Church. They really go above and beyond.:) After Church I ate with my family <3 and Church family. The time of fellowship was nice. Although I wasn't happy about somethings I still had a good time. Increase Your Self-Acceptance 

You may not think highly of yourself, but God wants you to like who you are. Here are 5 practical tips to help increase your self-acceptance and improve your opinion of yourself:

1. Never speak negatively about yourself. The communication of your faith is made effectual by acknowledging every good thing in you through Christ Jesus, not by focusing on the wrong.

2. Avoid comparing yourself to others. Peter encountered this obstacle when he compared himself to another disciple. He said, "Lord, what about this man? Jesus replied, If I want him to stay (survive, live) until I come, what is that to you?..." (John21:21-22 AMP). We are not called to compare, only to comply.

3. Let God determine your worth. Remember that you have already been accepted by God.

4. Keep your flaws in perspective. It's ok to see where you want to improve, but make sure you appreciate your progress.

5. Discover the true source of confidence. If you place your confidence in God, you can't help but have a healthy attitude. Do your best, and leave the results to Him.

*Just because I have a relationship with God doesnt mean i dont have bad days*Crazy day:I should have known waking up this morning with no power it was going to be a crazy day. Us and 12 other lucky ones was powerless this morning. But we managed to get ready in the dark. That mountain was climbed over! Then later on like an hour later I got into an little tiff with my best friend. We soon and quickly worked things out for the best. PTL© mountain climed over! We are bound to have bad days.. It's what you do with that day. You can say oh well and continue to let it be bad. Or you can (I suggest this way!!) say no! Today will be a good day. You have the choice to pick. Pick good:) 

Life is a gift: about an hour ago now we heard that a few kids that live by me were rushed to the hostipal. They weren't responding. I don't know all the fact but it's bad. There were four ambulance. I was at my parents office but my dad and brother were home. It broke my heart seeing and hearing the ambulance knowing them kids were in there. It breaks my heart that people and these teens don't think their life's are important. God in heaven HIMSELF knot you together in your moms womb! He chooses your hair color, eye color, every part of you. He loves you so much to place you on earth. You are only alive right now because of Him. He desires to have your heart and life. Some many of these young people are choosing things like drugs to fill their high. That high is more important than life itself. But it's not! If they want a true high turn to Jesus! He will be the best high you have been on. Trust me, I know! Share Jesus: everyday that your alive, your job on earth isnt done. Jesus died for you and we are called to be His hands and feet! We are called to share Him with everyone! Now I know that a lot of people won't care what your saying but never get up! I have two accounts where I didn't give up and them two people are saved and coming to Church. PTL!! © always always plant seeds! Never give up! Jesus will honor you! 

New book.. New study :)
