I would like to thank everyone who remember me in prayers friday. I'm sorry I'm not saying this sooner but it really meant a lot to me. My friends are awesome! Your amazing!! I love you all.:-) As child of Christ we are called to love people. In John 13:35 it says"By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Do we live up to this verse? I know at times its hard and may seem impossible to love but God says in Luke 1:37 "Nothing is impossible with God."I call myself a disciple and honestly I wasn't loving people like I am called too. It's hard for me to love people who have hurt me. But we hurt God all the time by sinning but God still loves us. If we have a relationship with Christ then we are apart of his body. We are one with God. If we put it that way then its much easier to love people. In life I really feel the calling to missions. I have a huge heart for kids and people. For me to love people other places I have to have love first for the people in my own town. God has been growing me in this area of my life. Recently one of my friends who have hurt me got in a wreck. I debated for a while to message him and ask if he was okay. I decided to put the past behind me and message him. He is okay,and making that first step wasn't that hard at all. Yesterday I went to the hospital after Church to visit some Church members who were in there. When we were visiting I found out someone eles who I knew and went to my church was in there. Me being a clean freaks daughter and a clean freak myself.. hospitals and I don't really go good together. You all may laugh at this part but oh well its good to laugh. So me and my aunt were visiting the lady (which that made her day so it was all worth it!) and my aunt sat down on the chair. So did I. But only in the edge because I was wearing a dress and didn't want my legs to touch the chair. Finally I just gave in and slide all the way back. Then when we left my aunt gave her a hug. And I was like oh no... I didn't want to be rude and not give her a hug. But she had open cuts and all. I did give her a hug and that was a huge step for this clean freak girl! After I thought, I made that step and God will protect me. I was sharing His love with her and making her day a little brighter. That's showing love for other people. Stepping out of your comfort zones and putting other people first. There are many ways we can show love for people. Let's look at what the Bible says about love: 1Jn 4:8 God is love, and anyone who doesn't love others has never known him. 1Jn 4:16 and are sure that God loves us. God is love. If we keep on loving others, we will stay one in our hearts with God, and he will stay one with us. Col 3:14 Love is more important than anything else. It is what ties everything completely together. 2Jn 1:6 Love means that we do what God tells us. And from the beginning, he told you to love him. 1Co 13:4 Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or 1Co 13:5 rude. Love isn't selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others do. 1Co 13:6 Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. 1Co 13:7 Love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. 1Co 13:8 Love never fails! Everyone who prophesies will stop, and unknown languages will no longer be spoken. All that we know will be forgotten. 1Co 13:13 For now there are faith, hope, and love. But of these three, the greatest is love. 1Co 16:14 Show love in everything you do. 1Pe 4:8 Most important of all, you must sincerely love each other, because love wipes away many sins. Pro 10:12 Hatred stirs up trouble; love overlooks the wrongs that others do. 1Co 14:1 Love should be your guide. Be eager to have the gifts that come from the Holy Spirit, especially the gift of prophecy. Eph 4:15 Love should always make us tell the truth. Then we will grow in every way and be more like Christ, the head Eph 4:16 of the body. Christ holds it together and makes all of its parts work perfectly, as it grows and becomes strong because of love. Pro 3:3 Let love and loyalty always show like a necklace, and write them in your mind. Pro 15:17 A simple meal with love is better than a feast where there is hatred. Psa 85:10 Love and loyalty will come together; goodness and peace will unite. Love yourself,love life but most important love God.
